Arthur Lien Biography:

Born in San Francisco, Arthur Lien would not discover the art of dance until his senior year of high school in Taipei, Taiwan. Arthur’s interest was triggered by a video clip of P-Lock, a renowned French Locker, that his friend had shown him. Initially shy and self-conscious, he would rarely take his dance practices outside of the household until he attended the University of California, Irvine, where he began practicing with the collegiate dance club known as BBoys Anonymous. There he met Geo, amongst many other talented dancers, that helped nurture his passion for dance.

Arthur’s growing participation in the dance community, along with his familiar Taiwanese background, eventually caught the attention of the Instant Noodles, and he soon became the first member ever to be “battled” into the crew on February, 2010. Since his induction, Arthur has participated in a number of competitions and choreographed performances with the rest of his crew mates, simultaneously balancing his college lifestyle and his aspirations to become a better dancer.

Although Arthur has only been a part of the Instant Noodles Crew for merely a year, he feels as though he has always been a part of the family, and wants nothing more but to give back to those who have inspired him through this art form.
